  • Job Details
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
  • The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department.
  • He / She communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Is capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker.
  • Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current and valid state RN License.
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred
    • COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
    • EDAP 1 and 2
    • BVP (MAB) training
    • EPIC EMR experience required.
      • Additional Details
      • Declinations accepted. Total of 3 vaccines (or 2 if J&J was the initial dose) to be considered fully vaccinated.
      • Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity. Declinations accepted.
      • Annual Respirator fit test. Can be completed onsite in Chino Valley Medical Center with Employee Health by appointment.
      • Declinations accepted for Hepatitis B.
      • Flu Vaccine or declination required October 1-May 31. Declinations accepted.
      • Must be completed within 6 months of onboarding.
      • Driver's license, State ID, or Passport required.
      • Vaccination/titer showing immunity. Declinations accepted.
      • Declinations accepted for Tdap.
      • Documentation of previous positive TB skin test or Quantiferon must be submitted for a chest x-ray to be accepted.
      • Must be complete within 1 year of onboarding. Must state clear to work.
      • National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date.
