• Operates powder coating equipment safely and efficiently ensuring application meets acceptable quality standards.
• Follows all safety regulations and ALWAYS uses ALL required safety equipment.
• Understands and follows established job specific and site wide health and safety procedures.
• As necessary starts up and shuts down of all powder coating equipment including coating booth and oven.
• Informs supervisor of equipment failures or necessary maintenance. Aids in preventative maintenance and repair activities as needed.
• Works with co-workers in the powder coat department to accomplish production goals including helping to prep and hang parts.
• Follows all company protocols, attendance policies, HR requirements and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Consistently achieves or exceeds volume and quality goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years related experience is required
  • Detail oriented with good problem solving and analysis skills. Able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work overtime when needed
      • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
      • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
      • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
        • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
        • Requires daily use of a Respirator and Tyvek protective suit.
        • Frequent heavy and demanding physical labor.
        • Must be comfortable handling basic hand and power tools such as a sander or drill.
        • Must be able to perform constant repetitive motion.
        • Must be able to stand 8 hours a day.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
